BACKGROUND:
Mr
I don't Care is fast becoming one of the
'don't have anything to do with him' type of Internet Marketing, self proclaimed gurus.
He is a 'give and take' kinda guy - he
gives you
nothing and
takes everything!
He has the
HIDE of a rhinocerous and also
HIDES behind the safety net of his Support Staff. His entire operation is 'branded' right down to the most infinite degree, meaning, his Support Section perfectly reflects his 'modus operandi.'

~ HOW IT ALL UNFOLDED ~
I received an email offering 7 PLR products with a sales website thrown in to 'seal the deal.' Of course, there was the obligatory P.S. and it read as follows:
"Everything you see there is yours. You can even grab everything for FREE!"
Now
THAT sounded like a very good deal to me, so I bolted over to the website to check it all out. I was feeling rather pleased that I was about to grab all of these goodies for free. That feeling turned a little sour, when I got to the bottom of the page, only to see a
BUY NOW button and the $ amount that was being requested.
I went through the website text once more, to see if I had missed anything or there were 'hoops' to jump through in order to get it for free. I found nothing along those lines. OK - let's press the
BUY NOW button and see what transpires. I was taken to a pre-purchase page, and there, in very small print, was a little note that advised:
"If you were offered this product at a discounted price or for free, due to a system bug, there will be a dollar amount showing. Ignore this and continue with filling out your details. This amount will self-adjust once you reach the final payment page."
I reached the 'final payment page' and the dollar amount remained!
"Something's not right here," I cleverly deduced. Time to lodge a query.
I accessed the online Help Desk - an easy task, as I have it in my 'favorites' folder due to previous 'discussions' - and briefly explained the problem I was having and asked how I could get the items for free as per the email from Mr I don't Care. I apologized in advance if I had missed something.
I received an answer within 24 hours, but I wasn't prepared for what I was about to read. In essence, it said:
"We regret to inform you that the offer you are referring to has ended."
Here's where it all gets interesting. A number of Internet Marketers, including Mr I don't Care, schedule their email offers to be sent out in the early hours of the morning when everyone in the US is sleeping. I am in Australia, and I often get 'first bite of the cherry' regarding limited time offers, etc., because it's daytime here and I am wide awake. I sometimes feel I have an unfair advantage in this regard.
The email offer I received was
ACTIONED WITHIN 3 MINUTES of receiving it!
NO WAY could the offer have ended. That was utter rubbish, and I promptly replied to the Help Desk advising them exactly that. I felt they had made a mistake and asked them to kindly review my original ticket and, if their answer was going to be the same, to please refer my query to Mr I don't Care for his intervention and resolution. I wanted to take advantage of the offer of
FREE that was put to me in the email that I had promptly actioned!
A further 24 hours passed and I received the response I expected.
"We understand your confusion and appreciate your disappointment in missing out on the offer. If we can be of further assistance in the future, please do not hesitate to contact us."
To be
"of further assistance," you must first be
"of assistance" and they hadn't been! I wrote back and advised that any
"confusion" was at their end and not mine, and as for being disappointed? Missing out on the products wasn't the cause. It was Mr I don't Care's questionable tactics used in the email - offering something for free that he had no intention of ever giving away. I also advised that I would be severing all ties with him and all of his opportunities as a direct result of his
'rip off the little guys' mind set.
I finished off with:
THIS WILL BE MY FINAL CONTACT WITH YOU.
The
'severing all ties' reference above, is just a throw away line I include in such circumstances. I
KNOW it doesn't carry any impact - he/they couldn't care less!
It's something I wouldn't do anyway. How else can I keep an eye on him and report here what he is currently up to? If he/they take action by deleting my email address from their data base, I have others active that they don't know about or know that they are connected to me. I haven't purposely done that to be underhanded in any way. Quite often, 'offers' require a new email address to be entered, hence I have multiple accounts with him, as well as with many other Internet marketers, as a result.
The 'system' actually works in
MY favor.

As every day passes, new ways to
RIP YOU OFF are being devised. These gurus have teams of people coming up with ideas to
DO JUST THAT!
DON'T BECOME ONE OF THEIR VICTIMS!
